Cultivating Passion and Possibilities What You Need to Know Hospice For All Season's Volunteers provide critical support for patients and their families in South Central Pennsylvania. Volunteers must be caring, compassionate, dedicated individuals capable of entering a home without judgment or the need to impose heir own belief system. What Volunteers Can Do • Light household chores • Preparing meals at your home for patients and delivering them • Pet therapy and pet visits • Listening • Putting puzzles together • Help patients tell or write their life stories • Singing or playing music • Reading to patient or holding a hand • Companionship • Staying with patient while family members take a needed break • Playing cards • And much, much more Volunteer Requirements Volunteer orientation/training is provided and must be completed prior to assignment. Volunteers must undergo a criminal background check, provide a current ID card or driver’s license and proof of insurance, as well as submit to a tuberculosis screening. Volunteers are asked to commit to 2-4 hours a month.
